Prior to launching R.L. Adams, PLLC in 2000, R.L. Adams was a partner in the Raleigh office of the statewide firm of Smith, Helms, Mulliss & Moore, LLP. 

  1. BulletDuring his tenure with the firm, R.L. gained extensive experience in general civil litigation including products liability, commercial, contract, fraud, personal injury / wrongful death, premises liability and real estate litigation.

R.L. Adams began his legal career as a Judge Advocate in the United States Army from 1983 to 1988.

  1. BulletAs Chief of Administrative Law for the 82 Airborne Division, he analyzed regulatory compliance issues, prepared supporting legal opinions, and served as ethics counselor for senior officers.
